ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Mini Wallet That Keeps Bills Flat

Our popular compact mini wallet, designed so your bills stay perfectly flat, is now available in a new color ^^

Its rounded, charming shape gives it an adorable, lovable feel. Each wallet is one-of-a-kind, with its own unique expression.

This version is crafted using three pieces of leather stitched on the back, allowing for a colorful design that you can enjoy. We hope you find a color you love ^^

The front of the wallet—the “face”—uses the natural curves of the leather edges, making each piece completely unique.

Because it’s designed to keep bills flat, the bills loop under the coin pocket, as shown in the last photo, so they remain crease-free and are easy to access ◎

Even without a button on the coin pocket, coins remain securely inside if you shape the wallet and fasten it with the button, so you can use it with confidence.

Despite its compact size, it has a surprisingly large capacity and can hold plenty of coins.

It can also be used as a business card holder.

This wallet is made exclusively from wild boar leather culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and transformed from fur into leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled wild boars has been increasing every year, and most of them are currently discarded.

These lives were taken out of necessity, and we hope to honor them fully. With that intention, every wallet is handmade.

Wild boar leather is said to last over 20 years. In Europe, it is treated as a premium leather—lighter and stronger than cowhide—and is passed down through generations, sometimes transforming a grandfather’s bag into a grandson’s wallet. Historically in Japan, it was even used for the headgear of firefighters.
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very lightweight (about 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free leather with properties similar to human skin
• Tanned using all-natural ingredients, safe for everyone from babies to the elderly

Precautions before purchase:
• This product is made from natural leather, so irregularities, scratches, wrinkles, dark spots, or whitening may appear due to the leather’s natural characteristics or chemical reactions during dyeing.
• Wild scratches are a testament to the boar’s life in the mountains and are unique to wild leather.
• At HUMMINGBIRD, except in areas affecting durability, we deliberately leave these marks to preserve the leather’s individuality and story. We hope you enjoy the unique character of wild leather.
• The leather is tanned and dyed using natural materials such as mimosa and acacia, so colors may vary depending on the season or individual hides.
• Natural leather may develop stains or discoloration if exposed to rain or sweat, and may transfer color to clothing. If wet, wipe off moisture and dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; please handle it with care to ensure long-lasting use.
