The indigo leather is hand-dyed in our atelier, carefully creating a gradient effect. This design is familiar as a leather coin case, but it’s an all-in-one mini wallet— it can hold coins, bills, and cards all together. At Hummingbird, we sometimes use the belly portion of the boar leather. When tanned, this part can appear fluffy or raised. Even if there are raised fibers or small holes, each piece is a fragment of life, and the unique curves and imperfections are all incorporated into the artwork.
