こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

“Zeni-Bukuro” – Slim Long Wallet made from Wild Boar Leather (Gibier Leather)

A slim, lightweight long wallet crafted from wild boar leather—designed to lie flat without adding bulk.

The wallet features a simple bill compartment and two card pockets. The large slit at the top opens into a spacious pouch for coins, giving this wallet its unique name, “Zeni-Bukuro” (Coin Bag).

When coins are placed inside, you can shake it gently to evenly distribute them across the pouch!

All leather is sourced from culled wild boars in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and processed into Gibier Leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled boars is increasing each year, and most are still discarded.
We craft each wallet by hand with the belief that these lives should be honored and used to the very end.

Before Purchasing
• Natural leather may show color variations, scars, wrinkles, or minor marks from the tanning and dyeing process.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and unique to wild leather.
• HUMMINGBIRD preserves these marks (except where structural strength is affected) to retain the story and character of the leather.
• Colors may vary depending on season and individual hide.
• Leather may stain or discolor from water or sweat and may rub off on clothing. If wet, wipe gently and dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; please handle with care for long-lasting use.
