こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Classic Bi-Fold Wallet (Larger Size) – One of a Kind

We have created three classic bi-fold wallets in a slightly larger size, each with its own unique color story.

•Yellow × Natural × Dark Brown × Camel
A warm combination inspired by chocolate bananas

•Blue × Green
A calm, soothing palette reminiscent of the sea and mountains

•Orange × Red × Natural
Bright, cheerful colors that lift your spirit

Each piece is crafted by stitching together the leather edges,
making it impossible to create two identical wallets.
These wallets are born from fragments of life —
one-of-a-kind creations made from wild boar leather.

We hope they will find their way into the hands of someone
who will cherish and use them for many years to come.

About the Leather

This wallet is made exclusively from genuine wild boar leather.
The boars were culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture,
and their hides were carefully transformed from fur into leather
at the Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of wild boars culled each year continues to increase,
and sadly, most of their hides are still discarded.

These lives were taken out of necessity.
At the very least, we want to honor them
by using every part with care and respect.

With this belief, each piece is finished entirely by hand.

About Wild Boar Leather

Wild boar leather is said to last over 20 years.
In Europe, it is valued as leather that can be passed down to the next generation.
It is so strong that a grandfather’s bag can be remade into a grandchild’s wallet.

Despite its strength, wild boar leather is lighter than cowhide,
and is regarded as a luxury material alongside ostrich and crocodile leather.
In Japan, it was once used for firefighters’ protective hoods.

Key features:
• Highly resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Extremely lightweight (about 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Low-maintenance leather with properties close to human skin
• Tanned and dyed using only natural ingredients
• Safe and eco-friendly leather suitable for everyone, from babies to the elderly

Important Notes Before Purchase
• As this product is made from natural leather, variations such as color unevenness, scratches, wrinkles, dark spots, or whitening caused by natural tanning and dyeing processes may occur.
• Scars unique to wild boar leather are evidence of the animal’s life in the mountains and are a characteristic of wild leather.
• At Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD, except for areas that affect durability, we intentionally preserve these natural marks as part of each hide’s individuality and story.
• The leather we use is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia. Color variations may occur depending on the season and the individual hide.
• Natural leather may develop stains, uneven coloring, or color transfer if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture. If it becomes wet, gently wipe off the moisture and allow it to dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate. Please handle with care and enjoy it for many years.
