ヌメ革の革ひもを使用しており
だんだん経年変化して
アメ色へと変化していく様をお楽しみいただけます

（オイルを塗ったり、日焼けさせる事で
汚れがつきにくくなりますので

こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Round-Bottom Handbag Made from Wild Boar Leather

A luxurious fully hand-stitched handbag made from wild boar leather has been completed.

Its size is practical, easily accommodating a long wallet.
(The wallet in the photo is the “Cash-Friendly Long Wallet”.)

Both pieces show scratches from the boar’s life—so-called “wild marks”—but we hope you enjoy these as part of the unique character of Gibier leather.

The straps are made from natural, undyed leather cords, which will gradually develop a beautiful amber patina over time.
(You can also apply oil or let it sun-tan to help resist dirt—feel free to try!)

The strap is long enough to carry the bag by hand, giving it a cute, casual look.
The design matches a variety of outfits, so take it with you everywhere and cherish it.

We hope this bag finds a home with someone who will enjoy it for a long time.

This leather comes from wild boars culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture and is fully transformed into leather by hand at the Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of wild boars culled each year is increasing, and most are discarded.
With care and respect for these lives, every piece is handmade.

Wild Boar Leather Features:
• Durable for over 20 years
• In Europe, considered “leather to be passed down for generations”, stronger and lighter than cowhide, comparable to ostrich or crocodile leather
• Historically used in Japan for firefighter hoods
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very lightweight (2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free, with composition similar to human skin
• Tanned with all-natural ingredients, safe for everyone from babies to the elderly
