ブラックベースの方はどちらのフラップとヘリを使用しています。

こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。
⚪︎革はデリケートです。お取り扱いに注意して末永くご愛用いただきますようお願いいたします。

Two Flap Flap wallets — featuring flaps on both the front and back — are now complete ◎

Perfectly sized to fit in the palm of your hand, they slip easily into any bag and are also ideal as a child’s very first leather wallet.

To receive life with gratitude — and to pass that value on to the next generation — is something we believe deeply matters.

From fragments of wild boar life,
these two Flap Flaps were born.
We are simply and sincerely happy about that.

The yellow-based piece pairs a camel-colored coin case inside.
Because there were many textured, uneven edges, we shaped them into a triangular flap and placed a hidden stamp on the inside ♫

The black-based piece incorporates natural edges on both flaps and along the trim.

By utilizing even the edges of the boar hide, we fulfill our mission:
“To cherish each life, at least until the very end.”

We hope these pieces reach someone who will treasure them —
someone who wishes to share the importance of life.

These pieces were made from wild boar leather sourced from animals culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and transformed from fur into leather in the atelier of Gibier Boar Leather HUMMINGBIRD.

The number of wild boars culled in Japan increases year by year,
and most of their hides are still discarded.

Lives that were taken unavoidably —
at the very least, we wish to honor them fully.

With that intention,
each piece is entirely handcrafted.

Wild boar leather is said to last over 20 years.
In Europe, it is considered lighter and stronger than cowhide and is known as “leather to pass down to grandchildren.”
It is strong enough that a grandfather’s bag can be remade into a grandchild’s wallet.
It is treated as a luxury leather comparable to ostrich and crocodile.

In Japan, it was once used for the protective hoods worn by firefighters.

◎ Maintenance-free leather with properties similar to human skin
◎ Tanned and dyed using only natural ingredients — an eco-friendly leather safe for everyone from babies to the elderly

【Before Purchasing】

⚪︎ As this product is made from genuine natural leather, you may notice variations in color, natural scars, wrinkles, blackish speckles, or whitening caused by natural dye reactions.
⚪︎ In particular, marks from life in the wild are proof that the boar lived freely in the mountains — a characteristic unique to wild leather.
⚪︎ At Gibier Boar Leather HUMMINGBIRD, except where strength would be affected, we intentionally preserve these marks as part of each hide’s individuality and story. We hope you will appreciate them as the unique beauty of wild leather.
⚪︎ Our leather is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia. Because of seasonal timing and individual differences, color variations may occur. Thank you for your understanding.
⚪︎ Natural leather may develop stains or discoloration if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture, and color transfer to clothing may occur. If wet, gently wipe off moisture and allow it to air dry in the shade.
⚪︎ Leather is delicate. Please handle with care and enjoy it for many years to come.
