This piece is made using indigo-dyed leather, hand-dyed in our atelier. ⸻ Two Zipper Colors Beige zipper The pouch with the beige zipper features a very wild-looking backside filled with natural scars. We hope it will find its way to someone who can embrace those marks just as they are. Dark brown zipper The dark brown zipper pouch has a deeper indigo tone overall, with a small natural scar near the upper area. ⸻ Each pouch is hand-stitched with care, using a piece of life— a fragment of a wild boar that had to be culled. It is safe for anyone—from babies to the elderly. You may not hear the term “gibier leather” very often, but over 600,000 wild boars are culled every year in Japan. About 95% of them are still disposed of without being used. Instead of letting them go to waste, we want to honor them— to connect their lives to something meaningful and lasting.
