これは、猟師さんが毛皮を剥ぐ際に
刃物を入れた形になっていて
全て表情が違います

この唯一無二のヘリのカーブを使い

ミモザやアカシアを原料にしていますので
赤ちゃんから安心してお使いいただける革です

ジビエレザーという言葉は
あまり聞き慣れないかもしれませんが
年間60万頭以上駆除されているイノシシを
そのまま捨てるのではなく
（95%は今もただ廃棄されています泣）
せめて大切に、つなぎたい。

その想いで毛皮からスタートし
デザイン・製作までを
すべて手作業で行っています。
（革へのなめしは、東京都墨田区にある『やさしい革』さんにお願いしています）

⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

This one-piece business card and card holder is handcrafted from the leather of Japanese wild boar.
Made from a single piece of leather, carefully folded like origami and patiently hand-stitched, with gratitude and intention in every stitch.
Because it is made from one continuous piece of leather, it is exceptionally durable and designed to accompany you for many years—perhaps even decades.
Perfect as a business card holder or card case, and it also works beautifully as a compact mini wallet.
It can hold plenty of cards while maintaining its elegant shape.
The flap features the natural edge of the leather as part of the design. This unique edge is created when hunters carefully remove the hide, so every curve and shape is completely different.
By preserving these naturally formed lines, every piece becomes truly one of a kind.
We hope it finds someone who will cherish it and keep it close for many years to come.

All wild boar leather used by Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD is tanned using natural plant-based ingredients such as mimosa and acacia.
No environmentally harmful substances are used in the tanning process, creating leather that is gentle enough for everyday use by people of all ages, including babies.

What Is Gibier Leather?
"Gibier leather" may be an unfamiliar term to many people.
Every year in Japan, more than 600,000 wild boars are culled to help maintain the balance between wildlife and human communities.
Sadly, around 95% of them are still discarded without being utilized.
We simply couldn't accept that.
With the hope of honoring these lives with dignity, we began by working with the hides themselves and now handcraft each piece from design to completion.
(The vegetable tanning process is entrusted to "Yasashii Kawa" in Sumida, Tokyo, specialists in gentle, plant-based leather tanning.)
These animals gave their lives as an unavoidable part of maintaining harmony between humans and nature.
The least we can do is honor them until the very end.

Before You Purchase
* Because this product is made from genuine natural leather, variations in color, wrinkles, scars, and natural markings are part of its unique character. Black speckles or lighter areas may also appear as natural results of the dyeing process.
* The marks and scars found on wild boar leather are evidence of a life lived freely in the mountains and forests. They are unique characteristics found only in truly wild leather.
* At Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD, unless a mark affects durability, we intentionally preserve these natural scars as part of each animal's story and individuality. We hope you will appreciate them as part of the beauty of wild leather.
* Our leather is tanned and dyed primarily with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia. Because of seasonal conditions and the individuality of each hide, slight variations in color may occur.
* Genuine leather may develop stains or color variation if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture. Color transfer to clothing is also possible. If the leather becomes wet, gently wipe away the moisture and allow it to dry naturally in the shade.
* Leather is a delicate natural material. Please handle it with care so that it can be enjoyed for many years.
