Brass 4-Hook Key Case | Wild Boar Leather ✴︎ Gibier Leather
These three Brass 4-Hook Key Cases were born from fragments of life carried by wild boars that once roamed freely through the mountains and forests of Japan.
Every piece of leather tells a different story.
The natural scars, the thickness of the hide, the softness or firmness of the texture—each reflects the life that animal once lived. No two pieces are ever the same.
Tanned with plant-based tannins and dyed using natural ingredients, these leathers contain no chromium. As they age, they develop a rich patina and unique character that can only be created through years of use.
Small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand, we hope this key case will become a treasured companion for many years to come.

① Yellow × Natural
A bold natural scar remains on this piece, reminding us of the wild life it once lived in the mountains.
② Dark Brown × Camel
Firm and crisp to the touch, this leather likely came from a mature boar. Enjoy watching it develop a deep, glossy patina over time.
③ Green × Brick Red
Soft, supple, and gentle in texture. The leather's character suggests it may have belonged to a younger boar, still early in its journey through the wild.

Our work began when we learned about the large number of wild boars that are culled each year in Japan.
Rather than allowing these lives to be discarded, we believe they deserve to be honored and used with gratitude until the very end.
We hope that thoughtful choices in our daily lives can help create a kinder future for both people and the environment.
Each piece we create is a gift from a life that once existed—a reminder of our connection to nature and the responsibility we share toward it.
All of our wild boar leather is vegetable-tanned and naturally dyed using plant-based materials such as mimosa and acacia. Because no harmful chemicals are used in the tanning process, the leather is gentle enough for everyday use.
More than 600,000 wild boars are culled annually in Japan, and most are still discarded after capture.
We wanted to change that.
With respect for every life received, we transform these hides into handcrafted pieces that can continue their story for years to come.
From design to handcrafting, every step is carried out with care.
The lives we receive are taken only to maintain balance between humans and wildlife.
Because of that, we believe they deserve to be valued until the very end.

• As this product is made from genuine natural leather, variations in color, wrinkles, scars, and markings may occur.
• Natural scars are evidence of the boar's life in the wild and are unique characteristics of wild leather.
• Except where durability would be affected, we intentionally preserve these marks as part of each animal's story.
• Because the leather is tanned and dyed using natural plant-based ingredients, slight differences in color may occur between pieces.
• Leather may develop stains, discoloration, or color transfer if exposed to rain, sweat, or excessive moisture. If wet, gently wipe dry and allow it to air dry in the shade.
• Leather is a natural material and should be handled with care for long-lasting enjoyment.
