こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。
⚪︎革はデリケートです。お取り扱いに注意して末永くご愛用いただきますようお願いいたします。

Gibier Leather Earrings & Piercings — Indigo Dye Series

Our Gibier Leather earrings and piercings are finally available not only in stores but also online!
※Please select either piercing or clip-on earrings from the options.
(Piercing hooks come in three types—choose your preferred style from the tab.)

These accessories are made from hand-dyed indigo leather, each piece carefully dyed by hand in the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
We hope you can feel the warmth and subtle gradation unique to natural dyes.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind, and the bold designs make a wonderful accent for any outfit.

Wild boar leather is extremely lightweight, so even larger earrings do not strain your ears.
After receiving many comments like “It’s so light I didn’t even notice if I dropped it!”, we now attach catches to all piercings for added security and peace of mind.

Every piece is crafted entirely by hand, honoring the previously discarded “fragments of life” from wild boars.
Our hope is to create a world where all life is respected until the very end, together with everyone who appreciates it.

These products use only genuine wild boar leather, culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and transformed from hide to leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
The number of culled boars is increasing yearly, and most are still discarded.
Out of respect for these lives, each piece is carefully handcrafted to honor them fully.

Wild boar leather is highly durable, lasting over 20 years, and is valued as a luxury leather in both Japan and Europe.
It is resistant to water, friction, and scratches, lightweight, and easy to handle.

• This product is made from natural leather, so color variations, scars, and wrinkles are natural characteristics.

• Natural leather may develop stains or color variations if exposed to water or sweat, so please handle with care.
