ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Tall “Noppo” Pouch – Colorful Edition

We’ve created a slightly tall and colorful “Noppo” pouch.

Its size is very practical for everyday use, and the long leather ribbon adds a charming accent.

With daily use, we hope it will develop a glossy, supple finish, becoming even more beautiful over time.

Wild boar leather is said to be two-thirds the weight of cowhide, making this pouch light and airy.
The average weight of seven pieces is only 60g.

At HUMMINGBIRD, our wild boar leather is tanned entirely with natural ingredients, allowing it to develop patina faster than chrome-tanned leather, letting you enjoy the natural aging process.

The more you use it, the more it becomes supple yet strong, showcasing the unique texture of wild boar leather.

About the Leather

This pouch is made from wild boar leather sourced from Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture. All leather is hand-processed from hide to finished product in the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

Wild boar populations are increasing every year, but most are still discarded. Out of respect for these lives, we carefully finish each piece by hand.

Wild boar leather is known to last over 20 years. In Europe, it is valued as a premium leather, lighter and stronger than cowhide, often passed down through generations. Historically in Japan, it was even used for firemen’s hoods.

Key features:
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very light (approx. 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free leather, similar in composition to human skin
• Tanned with all-natural ingredients, safe for babies and the elderly

Notes Before Purchase
• Natural leather shows color variations, scars, wrinkles, and may have dark or white spots from tanning or dyeing.
• Wild scars are unique to wild leather, evidence of the boar’s life in the forest.
• At HUMMINGBIRD, we intentionally preserve these scars (except where they affect durability) to highlight each leather’s story.
• Leather tanned with mimosa and acacia may show color differences depending on season or hide.
• Leather can stain or develop watermarks when wet. If exposed to water, wipe and air dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; handle with care to enjoy your item for years.
