こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、なめしや染色工程中に空気中に浮遊しているごみや鉄粉が付着した黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

We are excited to introduce a new L-zip mini wallet, crafted from Gibier Leather made from culled wild boars. Its playful name is “Thin Mini Wallet”.

Each wallet is carefully hand-stitched, making it a true handcrafted piece.

Inside, it features a coin pocket and a single-sided card pocket, keeping your essentials organized.
On the outside, the D-ring hardware allows you to attach a chain or your favorite keyholder, offering various ways to use it.

A Unique Encounter with Wild Boar Leather

Each wallet is made from wild boar leather, with its own distinct character.
You may notice wild scars, raised fibers, or clip marks from the tanning process—all part of the story behind the leather.
No two pieces are the same; each wallet is a one-of-a-kind creation, and these natural characteristics are intentionally incorporated into the design.

Since the leather is vegetable-tanned, it will develop a beautiful patina over time, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.
We hope it will be cherished, cared for, and grow more beautiful alongside you.

These wallets are made from wild boar leather culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, transformed from fur to leather at the Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled boars is increasing each year, and most are discarded.
We honor these lives by handcrafting every piece with care.

About Wild Boar Leather:
• Can be used for over 20 years
• Lighter and stronger than cowhide; in Europe, considered “leather to be passed down for generations”, as strong as ostrich or crocodile leather
• Historically used in Japan for firefighter hoods
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very lightweight (2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free, composition similar to human skin
• Tanned with all-natural ingredients, safe for babies to the elderly

• This is natural leather, so color variations, wrinkles, scars, or dark/white spots may occur from the tanning or dyeing process.
• Wild scars are evidence of the boar’s life in the wild and are unique to wild leather.
• Except in areas affecting durability, we intentionally preserve these marks to highlight each leather’s story.
• Leather is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients like mimosa and acacia; colors may vary by season or animal.
• Leather may stain or discolor if wet from rain or sweat. If so, wipe gently and air dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; please handle with care to enjoy for many years.
