レザーの端のナチュラルカーブを使用し
すべてが一点もの。
唯一無二のデザインとなっています。

こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Flap Flap / Bi-Fold Wallet – Gibier Leather (Wild Boar Leather)

This is a hand-stitched bi-fold wallet made from Gibier Leather (wild boar leather).

The name “Flap Flap” comes from its unique design featuring two flaps.

The wallet has four card pockets—two on the front and two beneath them—plus a spacious bill compartment and a gusseted coin pocket, making it a fully functional yet compact wallet.

Each flap uses the natural curve of the leather’s edge, making every wallet truly one-of-a-kind. No two are the same.

Wild boar leather becomes more glossy, supple, and stylish the more it is used.
Every stitch is carefully hand-sewn with care and attention, reflecting the craftsmanship and love put into each piece.

These wallets are made from wild boar leather culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, transformed from fur to leather at the Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled boars is increasing every year, and most are discarded.
We honor these lives by crafting each wallet entirely by hand, making the most of every piece.

About Wild Boar Leather:
• Durable for over 20 years
• Lighter and stronger than cowhide; in Europe, it is treated as “leather to be passed down for generations,” comparable to ostrich or crocodile leather
• Historically used in Japan for firefighter hoods
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very lightweight (2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free, composition similar to human skin
• Tanned with all-natural ingredients, safe for all ages from babies to the elderly
