こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され、
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になったイノシシ本革のみを使っています。

イノシシの駆除数は年々増加しており、
そのほとんどが廃棄されている現状があります。
やむを得ず、駆除されたいのちを
大切に、最後までいただきたいという想いで
丁寧に手作業で仕上げています。

イノシシ革は20年以上の耐久性があり、
日本だけでなく、ヨーロッパでも
非常に高級な革として評価されています。
水や摩擦、引っかき傷に強く、
軽くて取り扱いやすいのも魅力です。

Triangle Coin Case
– Gibier Leather ✴︎ Wild Boar Leather –

We’ve created an adorable triangle-shaped coin case!

Designed with snaps on both sides, it can be opened and closed easily from either side, securely holding your coins.

Made from soft, supple Gibier leather that molds comfortably to your hand, each piece is one-of-a-kind with its own unique character. Since it is crafted from the leather of wild boars, wild scratches—marks from life in the mountains—may remain, adding to the natural charm of each piece.

Despite its small size, it has surprisingly generous capacity, holding plenty of coins. Perfect for everyday use, it can also double as a small pouch for other items.

• Thickness approx. 1.5 cm

This coin case is made exclusively from wild boar leather culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and transformed from fur to leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled wild boars has been increasing each year, and most are currently discarded. These lives were taken out of necessity, and we carefully handcraft each piece with the intention of honoring and fully using them.

Wild boar leather is durable for over 20 years, and is highly valued as premium leather not only in Japan but also in Europe. It is resistant to water, friction, and scratches, while being lightweight and easy to handle.
