ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDの
イノシシ本革は
すべて環境に影響を与えることのない
ミモザやアカシアを原料にしていますので
赤ちゃんから安心してお使いいただける革です

ジビエレザーという言葉は
あまり聞き慣れないかもしれませんが
年間60万頭以上駆除されているイノシシを
そのまま捨てるのではなく
（95%は今もただ廃棄されています）
せめて大切に、つなぎたい。

その想いで毛皮からスタートし
デザイン・製作までを
すべて手作業で行っています。
（革へのなめしは、東京都墨田区にある『やさしい革』さんにお願いしています）

人間とのバランスを保つため
やむを得ずいただいたいのち。

⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Plump & Spacious Long Wallet – Made from Wild Boar Leather

This long wallet has been reborn from the hide of a culled wild boar.
Wrapped in a single piece of leather, it has a rounded, soft, and supple shape.

The vibrant orange leather comes from a large mother boar, identifiable as one that had been nursing her babies.
Many mother boars, searching tirelessly for food to feed their young, unfortunately fall into traps.
It makes you think of the baby boars suddenly losing their mother, and the fragility of life.

Every boar struggles to survive in the wild, just as humans do.
With gratitude for the life we’ve been given, we aim to honor it carefully.
We hope this wallet reaches someone who will truly treasure it—and perhaps pass it down to their children and grandchildren as a cherished family item.

This wallet is made from genuine wild boar leather, culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and processed from hide to leather at HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
We work with natural tannins from mimosa and acacia, creating leather safe for babies to adults, with no environmental impact.

The concept of “Gibier Leather” may be unfamiliar, but each year over 600,000 wild boars are culled, most of which (95%) are still discarded.
Rather than letting these lives go to waste, we carefully preserve and craft them by hand, from tanning to design and production.
(Tanning is carried out by “Yasashii Kawa” in Sumida, Tokyo.)

The lives we take to maintain balance with humans are precious; at the very least, we want to honor them fully.

• This product is made from natural leather, so color variations, scars, wrinkles, or spots caused by chemical reactions during dyeing may appear.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and unique to wild leather.
• At HUMMINGBIRD, we preserve each leather’s individuality, except where strength would be affected, so that the story of the boar’s life remains visible.
• Leather may develop stains or discoloration from water or sweat, and may rub off on clothing. If wet, wipe gently and dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; please handle with care to enjoy it for years.
