ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Snap-Open Mini Pouch with Spring Frame

We’ve created a small pouch with a spring frame that opens easily with one hand.

Measuring 9 cm × 9 cm, its compact size is simply adorable.

Perfect for coins, earphones, accessories, or medicine, you can use it for a variety of purposes.

The more you use it, the shinier, softer, and more supple the leather becomes, and the color gradually deepens.
• Dark brown version features a two-tone design with black on the inside.
• Natural leather (nume) is undyed and develops a beautiful amber patina over time.

Each pouch carries a fragment of life from a wild boar that once roamed freely in the mountains of Isahaya.
We hope it finds a home with someone who will treasure it for years to come.

This pouch is made exclusively from genuine wild boar leather, culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and processed from hide to leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled boars is increasing each year, and most are still discarded.
With this in mind, each piece is carefully handmade, honoring the life of the animal to the very end.

Wild boar leather is said to last over 20 years. In Europe, it is considered a luxury leather strong enough to pass down through generations. Grandfather’s bag can even be remade into a grandson’s wallet. In Japan, it was historically used for firefighter hoods.

Before Purchasing
• This product uses natural leather, so color variations, scars, and wrinkles are natural features.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and are a unique characteristic of wild leather.
• At HUMMINGBIRD, we preserve each leather piece’s individuality, except where strength is affected.
• Natural leather may develop stains or discoloration if exposed to water or sweat. Please handle with care.
