こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Large-Capacity Pen Case Made from Gibier Leather

We have crafted a large-capacity pen case using gibier leather.

The soft and supple feel of wild boar leather fits comfortably in your hand, making it a pleasure to use. The zipper pull is made from a wild boar tusk, creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

Both the body of the pen case and the zipper pull are “fragments of life” from a wild boar. Each animal lived a unique life in the wild, and you can enjoy the differences in texture and character—one of the special qualities of gibier leather.

Beyond a pen case, you can use it for tools, stationery, or anything else you can imagine.

We hope it finds a home with someone who will cherish it as if it were family.

This pen case is made exclusively from genuine wild boar leather, culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and processed from hide to leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
The number of culled boars is increasing each year, and most are still discarded.

We carefully craft each piece by hand, honoring the life of the boar and using every fragment with care.

Wild boar leather is known to last over 20 years. In Europe, it is regarded as a luxury leather strong enough to pass down through generations, with grandfather’s bag often remade into a grandson’s wallet. In Japan, it was historically used for firefighter hoods.

Before Purchasing
• This product uses natural leather, so color variations, scars, and wrinkles are natural features.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and should be appreciated as part of the leather’s unique character.
• HUMMINGBIRD preserves the individuality of each leather piece, except where strength is affected.
• Natural leather may develop stains or discoloration if exposed to water or sweat, so please handle with care.
