カラーはどんどん濃くなっていきます

どの子も、諫早の山の中を
自由に駆け回っていた
野生のイノシシのいのちのカケラ。

末長くそばにおいて
大切にしてくださる方に

こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。
⚪︎革はデリケートです。お取り扱いに注意して末永くご愛用いただきますようお願いいたします。

【English Product Description】

We have completed a spring-closure pouch that opens easily with one hand.

This pouch is made from hand-dyed indigo leather crafted in our atelier.

It can be used as a small accessory pouch, or by folding bills in half, it can also serve as an all-in-one wallet.

The more you use it, the shinier, softer, and more supple it becomes, and the indigo color deepens beautifully over time.

Each piece carries a fragment of life from a wild boar that once roamed freely in the mountains of Isahaya.

We hope it finds a home with someone who will cherish it for years to come.

This leather comes exclusively from wild boars culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and transformed from hide to leather in the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

The number of culled boars is increasing each year, yet most are still discarded.
Out of respect for these lives, every piece is carefully handmade to honor them fully.

About Wild Boar Leather
•Known to last over 20 years
•Lighter and stronger than cowhide, regarded in Europe as heirloom leather, used to transform a grandfather’s bag into a grandchild’s wallet
•Historically used in Japan for firefighter headgear
•Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
•Very lightweight (approx. 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
•Maintenance-free leather, similar in composition to human skin
•Eco-friendly, tanned entirely with natural ingredients—safe for all ages

Before Purchasing
•This product is made from natural leather; color variations, wrinkles, scars, or dark spots/whitening from dyeing may occur.
•Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life in the mountains and are unique to wild leather.
•At HUMMINGBIRD, natural marks are intentionally preserved—except where durability is affected—to honor each animal’s story.
•The leather is tanned and dyed using natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia. Colors may vary depending on season and individual hide.
•Contact with water, rain, or sweat may cause stains or color transfer. If wet, wipe thoroughly and dry in the shade.
•Leather is delicate; please handle with care to enjoy for many years.
