ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

Colorful Garland Made from Gibier Leather

We have created a colorful garland using gibier leather, perfect for decorating your home, shop, or any space. It adds a bright and cheerful touch wherever it’s displayed.

The garland comes in six colors, so you can choose according to your preference.
Even just hanging it up, the leather will gradually age, developing a natural patina over time.

Each piece incorporates wild scars—marks left when the boar was living freely in the mountains—as well as small holes, giving this garland its unique character only possible with gibier leather.

We hope it finds a home with someone who will treasure it and keep the life of the boar close for years to come.

Size
• Triangle leather piece: Base 5 cm × Height 5 cm
• String length: approx. 150 cm
• Number of triangles: 12 pieces
• The leather pieces and string are delivered separately, so you can arrange them in any order you like.
• Tip: Wrapping a piece of masking tape around the end of the string makes it easier to thread through the triangles.

These garlands are made from genuine wild boar leather, culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki, and processed from hide to leather at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
The number of culled boars is increasing every year, and most are still discarded.

We craft each item entirely by hand with the intention of honoring the life of the boar, using every piece carefully.

Wild boar leather is known to last over 20 years. In Europe, it is considered a luxury leather strong enough to be passed down for generations—grandfather’s bag can be remade into a grandson’s wallet.
In Japan, it was historically used even for firefighter hoods.

• Very lightweight (approx. 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free eco-leather, safe for all ages

Before Purchasing
• This product uses natural leather, so color variations, scars, and wrinkles are natural features.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and should be appreciated as part of the leather’s unique character.
• HUMMINGBIRD preserves the individuality of each leather piece, except where strength is affected.
• Natural leather may develop stains or discoloration if exposed to water or sweat, so please handle with care.
