こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、染色時の化学反応でついた黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

This pouch is made exclusively from genuine wild boar leather sourced from boars culled in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
At the GIBIER LEATHER HUMMINGBIRD atelier, each hide is transformed from fur into leather with great care.

Wild boar culling numbers continue to rise every year,
and sadly, most of these animals are disposed of as waste.

Because these lives were taken out of necessity,
we believe in honoring them—
using their materials with gratitude, right to the very end.

With that intention, every piece is crafted entirely by hand.

About Wild Boar Leather

Wild boar leather is known to last over 20 years.
In Europe, its lightness and strength—surpassing cowhide—
have earned it the name “leather to pass on to your grandchildren.”
A grandfather’s beloved bag is often remade into his grandchild’s wallet.
It is valued as a high-end leather, on par with ostrich and crocodile.

In Japan, it was even used in the protective hoods worn by traditional firefighters.
•Highly resistant to water, friction, and scratches
•Extremely lightweight (about 2/3 the weight of cow leather)
•Maintenance-free leather with a composition close to human skin
•Eco-leather tanned entirely with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia—safe for everyone from babies to the elderly

【Before Purchasing – Please Read】
•Because this product uses natural leather, variations in color, small scars, wrinkles, dark spots, or whitening from natural chemical reactions during dyeing may be present.
•Especially with wild leather, natural scars are proof of the boar’s life in the mountains and are a unique characteristic not found in farmed leather.
•At GIBIER LEATHER HUMMINGBIRD, we intentionally keep these marks (except where they affect durability), as they represent the individuality and life story of each animal. We hope you can appreciate these natural features.
•Our leather is tanned and dyed using natural materials such as mimosa and acacia, so colors may vary depending on the season and the individual hide.
•Natural leather may stain or discolor if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture. It may also transfer color onto clothing. If the leather becomes wet, please wipe it thoroughly and let it dry in the shade.
•Leather is delicate. Please handle with care to enjoy it for many years.
