無染色のヌメ革だけで作った作品です。
イノシシ革本来の経年変化が味わっていただけます。また、内側の当て革には、鞣しの際の分別に使われる穴の部分を使いました。一枚の革に1箇所しかない部分です。

【4-Ring Key Case】Wild Boar Leather ✴︎ Gibier Leather

Three 4-ring key cases were born from wild boar leather.

Small pieces of wild boar leather were carefully layered and transformed, one by one, into unique creations.
Two feature three-color collages, and one is made entirely from undyed natural vegetable-tanned leather.

A compact key case that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.

A charming collage inspired by the colors of a chocolate banana.

② “Tricolor”

Deep, moist blue × natural nude × vivid red
A bold collage inspired by classic tricolor hues.

③ “All-Natural Nude Leather”

Crafted entirely from undyed vegetable-tanned leather.
You can fully enjoy the natural aging of wild boar leather over time.
For the inner reinforcement, we used a rare section with a hole that appears only once per hide—created during the sorting process in tanning.

This project began when we learned about wild boars that are culled as part of population control.

With gratitude for the life we have been given,
we wish to honor it to the very end.

We believe that mindful living and careful daily choices can create a future that is gentle on both the earth and our bodies.

These “fragments of life” carry a gift toward a richer future.

For now, and for the generations to come,
we hope these pieces of life will be cherished and passed on.

That spirit is woven into every piece we create.

All wild boar leather used by Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD is tanned and dyed using natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia, which have no harmful environmental impact.
This makes it safe for everyone—from babies to adults—to use with peace of mind.

The term “gibier leather” may still be unfamiliar, but in Japan, more than 600,000 wild boars are culled every year—and about 95% are still discarded.

Rather than wasting these lives, we want to connect them forward with care.

Starting from raw hides, every step—designing and crafting—is done entirely by hand.
(The tanning process is entrusted to “Yasashii Kawa”, a tannery in Sumida, Tokyo.)

These lives were taken unavoidably to maintain balance between humans and nature.
At the very least, we wish to honor them until the very end.

Before Purchasing
•This product is made from natural leather, so variations such as uneven coloring, scratches, wrinkles, dark spots from tanning reactions, or whitening may occur.
•Marks and scars unique to wild leather are proof of the boar’s life in the mountains and are characteristics found only in wild hides.
•Except for areas affecting durability, we intentionally preserve these natural marks as part of the leather’s story. We hope you enjoy them as the true character of wild leather.
•Our leather is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia, so colors may vary depending on season and individual hide.
•If the leather becomes wet from rain or sweat, it may cause stains, uneven coloring, or color transfer to clothing. If wet, gently wipe off moisture and allow it to dry in the shade.
•Leather is delicate—please handle with care and enjoy it for many years.
