生前野山を駆け回った野生傷などが見られ

こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

A slightly larger 20cm zipper pouch has been completed ◎

Perfectly sized to hold your everyday makeup essentials, this pouch is designed to be your daily companion ♫

With gratitude for the life that was given, and with the wish to cherish even the smallest “fragments of life” until the very end, we used a thin leather offcut for the zipper pull.

The slightly larger body reveals natural marks of the wild — scars from when the boar once ran freely through the mountains and fields.
Each piece carries a different expression, making every pouch truly one of a kind.

We hope you will treasure and use it for many years.
If you notice loose threads or hardware issues over time, please feel free to contact us.

This leather comes from wild boars culled within Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
At the atelier of Gibier Boar Leather HUMMINGBIRD, we work exclusively with genuine wild boar leather that has been transformed from fur into leather.

The number of wild boars culled increases every year,
and the reality is that most of them are discarded.

Lives that were taken out of necessity —
at the very least, we wish to honor them
by cherishing them until the very end.

With this belief, each piece is carefully finished entirely by hand.

Wild boar leather is said to last more than 20 years.
In Europe, it is lighter and stronger than cowhide and has been known as “leather to be passed down to the next generation.”
It is durable enough that a grandfather’s bag can be remade into a grandchild’s wallet.
It is regarded as a luxury leather alongside ostrich and crocodile.
In Japan, it was historically used for the protective hoods worn by firefighters.

◎ Extremely lightweight (about two-thirds the weight of cowhide)
◎ Maintenance-friendly leather, close in composition to human skin
◎ Tanned and dyed using only natural ingredients (primarily mimosa and acacia), making it an eco-leather safe for everyone from babies to the elderly

【Before Purchasing】

⚪︎ As this product is made from natural leather, variations in color, natural scars, wrinkles, dark spots caused by dye reactions, or whitening may be present.
⚪︎ Wild scars are proof that the boar lived freely in the mountains and are unique characteristics found only in wild leather.
⚪︎ At Gibier Boar Leather HUMMINGBIRD, except for areas that affect durability, we intentionally preserve these natural marks as part of each leather’s individuality and life story. We hope you will appreciate them as the true character of wild leather.
⚪︎ The leather we use is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia. Due to seasonal factors and individual differences, color variations may occur.
⚪︎ Natural leather may develop stains, uneven coloring, or color transfer if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture. If wet, gently wipe off moisture and dry in the shade.
⚪︎ Leather is delicate. Please handle with care and enjoy it for many years to come.
