⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

About Wild Boar Leather

Wild boar leather is said to last over 20 years.
In Europe, it has long been valued as leather “to be passed down to grandchildren” — lighter and stronger than cowhide. It is durable enough that a grandfather’s bag can be remade into a grandchild’s wallet. It is considered a luxury leather alongside ostrich and crocodile.

In Japan, it was historically used for the protective hoods worn by firefighters.

Features:
• Highly resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Extremely lightweight (about 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free leather with components similar to human skin
• Eco-leather tanned and dyed entirely with natural ingredients (primarily mimosa and acacia), safe for all ages

Before Purchasing
• As this is genuine natural leather, variations such as uneven coloring, scratches, wrinkles, dark speckles, or lightened areas caused by natural dye reactions may occur.
• Scars from life in the wild are proof that the boar lived freely in the mountains — a unique characteristic found only in wild leather.
• At Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD, we intentionally preserve these marks (except where durability would be affected) as part of each leather’s individuality and life story. We hope you will appreciate them as the authentic character of wild leather.
• Because our leather is tanned and dyed using natural ingredients such as mimosa and acacia, color variations may occur depending on the season and individual hide.
• Natural leather may develop stains, uneven coloring, or color transfer if exposed to rain, sweat, or moisture. If wet, gently wipe off moisture and dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate. Please handle with care and enjoy it for many years to come.
