ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで
全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

“Cash Lover” Long Wallet

This is a classic long wallet made from wild boar leather (Gibier Leather).

The wallet uses multiple pieces of camel-colored leather combined into a “mixed camel” design. Over time, the leather will develop a rich patina, allowing you to enjoy its evolving beauty.

The flap design incorporates the natural edge of a single piece of leather, while the wild scars tell the story of the boar’s life.

Each wallet is one-of-a-kind, preserving as much as possible the story of the animal and the craft involved at the HUMMINGBIRD atelier.

All HUMMINGBIRD Gibier Leather is made from wild boar hides tanned with mimosa and acacia, ensuring environmentally friendly leather that is safe for all ages.

The term “Gibier Leather” may be unfamiliar, but over 600,000 boars are culled annually in Japan, and most (95%) are discarded. Our goal is to honor these lives and preserve them through leather craft.

From the hide to the finished product, everything is handmade, with tanning entrusted to Yasashii Kawa in Sumida, Tokyo.

Before Purchasing
• Natural leather may show variations in color, scars, wrinkles, or dark/white spots from the dyeing process.
• Wild scars are proof of the boar’s life and unique to wild leather.
• HUMMINGBIRD preserves these marks (except where structural strength is affected) to retain the story and character of the leather.
• Colors may vary depending on season and hide.
• Leather may stain or discolor from water or sweat and may rub off on clothing. If wet, wipe gently and dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate; please handle with care for long-lasting use.
