こちらは長崎県諫早市内で駆除され
ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDのアトリエで
毛皮から革になった
イノシシ本革のみを扱っています

イノシシの駆除数は
年々増加しており
そのほとんどが廃棄されているのが現状です

やむを得ず、駆除されたいのち
せめて最後まで
大切にいただきたい

その想いで全て手作業で仕上げています

イノシシ革は20年以上使える皮革と言われ
ヨーロッパでは
牛より軽くて強いイノシシの革を
【孫の代まで継ぐ革】として
祖父のカバンを、孫のお財布に作り変えるほど強い革、オーストリッチやクロコダイルに並ぶ高級な革として扱われています
日本でも昔は、火消し（消防団）がかぶる頭巾にも使われていました

⚪︎本製品は天然皮革のため、色むらや傷、シワなどの天然皮革特有の個性や、なめしや染色工程中に空気中に浮遊しているごみや鉄粉が付着した黒っぽい斑点や白化などが見られる場合があります。
⚪︎特に野生傷はイノシシが山の中で生きていた証であり、野生革のみに見られる特徴です。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDでは、強度に影響のある箇所を除き、革それぞれの個性・イノシシが生きていたストーリーとしてあえて傷をそのまま使用しています。野生革の味わいとして楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。
⚪︎ジビエレザーHUMMINGBIRDで使用している革は、ミモザやアカシアを主な原料とする天然成分でなめし・染色をしており、時期や個体差によってカラーの違いなどがあります。ご了承ください。
⚪︎天然皮革は雨や汗などの水分で濡れた場合、色ムラやシミになる場合があります。または色落ちにより衣類等を汚す場合がありますのでご注意下さい。万一濡れた場合は水分をよく拭き取ってから陰干しして下さい。

This Small Amulet Case is a keychain-style case that gently holds tiny charms, natural stones, or other precious items. It is designed to be carried close to your body at all times, making it a truly personal piece.

It’s also perfect as a small coin purse for children, ensuring they won’t misplace it! In the photos, it is shown holding eight 500-yen coins.

About the Leather
• Made from wild boar leather sourced from Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, culled and processed in the Gibier Leather HUMMINGBIRD atelier.
• Most wild boars culled each year are discarded, but we honor their lives by carefully handcrafting each piece from fur to leather.

Wild boar leather is extremely durable, lasting over 20 years.
In Europe, it is considered a premium leather, lighter and stronger than cowhide, often repurposed across generations—from a grandfather’s bag to a grandson’s wallet—and ranked alongside ostrich and crocodile leathers.
Historically in Japan, it was even used for firefighter hoods.

Features:
• Resistant to water, friction, and scratches
• Very light (about 2/3 the weight of cowhide)
• Maintenance-free leather, close in composition to human skin
• Tanned entirely with natural ingredients, safe for babies to the elderly

Notes Before Purchase
• As this product is made from natural leather, color variations, scratches, wrinkles, dark spots, or whitening from the tanning or dyeing process may appear.
• Wild scratches are evidence of the boar’s life in the wild and are unique to wild leather.
• We intentionally preserve the character of each piece, except where it affects durability, so you can enjoy the story of the animal’s life.
• Leather is tanned and dyed with natural ingredients like mimosa and acacia, so color may vary by season or animal.
• Rain or sweat may cause staining or color transfer. If wet, gently wipe and air dry in the shade.
• Leather is delicate—please handle carefully to enjoy it for years.
